About Summit
We practice what we share.
Summit Holistic Wellness began with a simple truth: the practices we offer are the ones that changed us. Sound, circle, breath, and energy work helped each of us slow down, come home to our bodies, and remember who we are. Now we hold that same space for you, in our Amherst studio, in your community, and on retreat.

Meet Our Team
As a mother, wife, sister, and founder of Summit, I embody the adventurous, free-spirited essence of a Sagittarius. I'm a deep lover of the outdoors and feel most alive hiking, backpacking, skiing, or simply wandering through the woods. Music fills my soul, and I thrive on the unplanned moments that bring joy and spontaneity to life.
In my free time you'll find me exploring the open ocean or driving across the country in my van. I'm a lifelong learner and avid reader, passionate about helping others embrace their authenticity and inner strength.
Sound healing and women's circles have been transformational in my own life, and that's the heart of Summit: we practice what we share. I'm newly called to guide Wild Woman Circles, creating spaces where women can connect, heal, and celebrate their unique journeys. Come exactly as you are.
Kate Ledoux
FOUNDER & WELLNESS DIRECTOR
WILD WOMAN CIRCLE FACILITATOR
CERTIFIED SOUND HEALER

Kate works with teens and adults who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or ready for something to change. Her approach is warm, real, and integrative—looking beyond symptoms to understand what's happening in the whole person and what may actually help them move forward.
Her work blends traditional therapy with EMDR, mindfulness, somatic approaches, and the mind-body connection. Kate has a particular passion for supporting teens and young adults as they navigate anxiety, identity, relationships, transitions, and the sometimes messy process of figuring out who they are.
As the founder of Summit, Kate's belief that healing doesn't always happen sitting across from someone in a therapy room has shaped both the counseling practice and Summit's holistic wellness offerings.
Beyond the therapy room: Kate is happiest outside—hiking, backpacking, skiing, traveling, or heading off on the next adventure. She also facilitates sound experiences and women's circles and believes strongly in the power of connection, nature, and slowing down.
Marissa offers Reiki, private sound baths, and group sound experiences with an intuitive, compassionate touch. She believes no two people are alike, so no two sessions should be either. Depending on your comfort, she may weave in crystals, essential oils, and tuning forks to create a calming, personal experience.

Her pull toward energy work began long before Reiki, offering comfort through gentle, intentional touch to loved ones in pain. With a background in hospitality and events, she sees herself as a guide and a bridge, helping people pause, soften, and reconnect with themselves in a world that rarely asks us to slow down.

Beyond the studio, Marissa is happiest with her family and close friends, traveling, exploring new wellness practices, and writing. She hopes to publish her own work someday.
Marissa
WELLNESS COORDINATOR
REIKI PRACTITIONER | SOUND BATH FACILITATOR

Sheelu brings warmth, humor, and genuine compassion into the therapy room. She works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, family conflict, school challenges, life transitions, and the times when life simply feels hard to sort through.
Her approach is integrative, supportive, and down-to-earth. She'll meet you where you are, but she isn't afraid to gently challenge you when it may help you see something differently. Sheelu's goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, work through what's getting in the way, and move toward meaningful change.
Sheelu has extensive experience supporting adolescents and families and especially enjoys helping young people navigate relationships, identity, school, and the transition into adulthood.
Beyond the therapy room: Sheelu loves live music, cooking, cheering on the Packers, and adventuring with her family dog.

Dolly
OUR WISE WARRIOR
WILD WOMAN CIRCLE FACILITATOR | SOUND HEALER
BREATHWORK FACILITATOR

Dolly works with teens ages 16+ and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or weighed down by stress, trauma, or difficult life experiences. Her approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that there isn't one right path to healing.
Dolly helps clients better understand themselves, build practical ways to cope, and gently challenge patterns that may no longer be serving them. Her work is integrative and may incorporate EMDR, mindfulness, somatic approaches, CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems depending on what fits each person.
You can expect warmth, respect, humor, and someone who genuinely believes in your ability to grow and create a life that feels more grounded and meaningful.
Beyond the therapy room: Dolly loves to dance, practice yoga, and get outside for walks and hikes with her dog. She's also a circle facilitator and sound healer, bringing her love of connection and mind-body wellness into Summit's holistic offerings.
Dolly is our wise warrior. As a Wild Woman Circle facilitator, sound healer, and breathwork facilitator, she brings grounded strength and deep warmth to every space she holds.
Dolly's path to this work began on retreat. After experiencing the healing power of sound, breath, and circle for herself, she felt called to bring her favorite parts of those experiences home to her own community. Trained in somatic therapy, she's excited to carry somatic work beyond the therapy room and into a group setting, where the wisdom of the body can be shared and witnessed together.
Her Activating Breathwork classes invite you to move energy, release what you've been carrying, and reconnect with your body, while her circles and sound sessions offer a place to slow down and be fully seen.
Outside the studio, you'll find Dolly walking the woods with her dog, catching live music, or spending time with her adult kids. She loves a good hot yoga class and is happiest with her hands in the dirt in her yard.
